Built by operators
We’ve spent twenty years building and running businesses at The Lo & Behold Group. Along the way, we learnt that most of the hard problems inside a company aren’t solved by another piece of software or another consultant. They’re solved by investing in good people, and building better systems around them. Foundational grew out of that experience.The people training we developed became Foundational School. The platform technology we built became Foundational OS.Now we use both to build the next generation of companies.

Built by operators
Foundational OS is built from a year of organisation-wide AI implementation work across The Lo & Behold Group.We started by training colleagues with no technical background to build with Claude Code, Codex and Grok Build, and soon ran into the limits of those general coding tools.
We wanted stronger organisational guardrails, an easier way for the team to share and publish the tools they built, and a common source of truth everyone could tap into.So we built Foundational OS as a company-owned layer on top of these general coding tools.We hope it will be as helpful to you as it has been to us.

01Anyone can build
The team on the ground is closest to the problem, understands it best, and cares most about it. Foundational OS lets them build tools to tackle those problems.
02More useful over time
People and agents use your company’s knowledge and data through the Company Brain. Their contributions and use make it more useful over time. Company data stays on servers your company owns, not on a model vendor’s servers.
03Control from day one
Each person uses their own isolated remote computer through a browser, with nothing to install on their laptop or desktop.The Company Brain limits each staff member and agent to the company knowledge and data they need. Foundational’s own connectors limit which apps an agent can reach and which parts of each app it can use.
03Who It’s For
Foundational OS is for founder-led businesses of 20 to 500 people, ideally with a strong AI champion inside the company to work with us and lead adoption.

Each person works on their own remote computer, sandboxed and accessed from their browser. No local installation is needed. Your company owns its data. Zero Data Retention with the model provider can be arranged.The Company Brain gives each person and each agent only the knowledge and data they need. Foundational’s connectors limit an agent to selected apps, and to selected parts of those apps.

No. We have designed Foundational OS for non-technical staff across the company, whatever their role.
We are building custom connectors that give you finer control over what an agent can access. We currently support: Google Drive, Gmail, Google Calendar, Notion, Slack, Telegram.
